The conferences have been organized by the Serbian Association of Hydraulic Research and the Serbian Association for Hydrology since 1954. The conferences aim to bring together the scientific and the professional community and to exchange knowledge on current issues and trends in the fields of hydraulics and hydrology.
The conference will be held with the financial support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.
The conference will be held on October 25th and 26th, 2018 in Niš, Serbia at the Hotel Aleksandar Conference Centre (hotel-aleksandar.com).
Accommodation information will be provided in subsequent announcements.
Conference languages are Serbian, former Yugoslav languages and English. Papers in Serbian can be written either in Cyrillic or Latin fonts.
Simultaneous translation services will not be available at the conference.
Abstracts and papers should be submitted through the EasyChair platform to the 18. SDHI-SDH link by April 15th 2018. Prior to the submission procedure, the authors need to create an EasyChair personal account (if they do not possess one already). Instructions on how to create an account and submit an abstract or a full paper are provided in the Manual available on the conference web page (in Serbian). The Scientific Committee will review the submitted abstracts and select the best ones to be presented at the conference. Notification of acceptance will be sent out by May 15th 2018. The authors of accepted abstract have to prepare and submit a full paper by September 1st 2018.

All papers will be peer-reviewed and the accepted ones will be published in the Conference Proceedings (electronic form, ISBN).
The organizers invite students of the all levels of study (bachelor, master, PhD) and young researchers (under the age of 35) to participate in the conference.
Special prizes will be awarded to the best student and young researcher papers.
Student papers will be presented in a Special session. Professors are kindly asked to encourage students to present their final year and theses research. Students are exempted from the conference fee.
Public and private organizations, measuring equipment producers, software developers and distributors, as well as other interested entities are invited to contact the organizers if they are interested in giving presentations, poster sessions, workshops or trainings as the conference side events.
